This website will provide you with all the information you need with regards to being in a swimming a club – whether it be for yourself or your child. You will also find information on class times and the various swimming competitions that the club participates in.
This swimming club has a group of very hardworking and enthusiastic coaches who really believe in the swimmers. So much so that they give up a lot of their own time to the club. The coaches are very committed to each swimmer’s success. Each of the coaches was selected based on their combination of coaching and teaching experience, as well as their passion for developing young swimmers.
The juniors are our youngest competitive swimmers. They have accomplished the basic techniques and can swim up to 2000 meters. They will learn techniques such as diving, starts, and turns. The Junior squad introduces the swimmers to the competitive arena.
Once the swimmers move from the Junior to the Intermediate squad, they start training 5 times instead of 3 times a week. They swim anywhere between 2000 and 3000 meters at each session. The focus is on refining the stroke.
The Elite squad trains between 5 and 10 times during the week (mornings and evenings), as well as additional training on weekends where required. This squad introduces land training twice a week also. The goal of the Elite swimmers is to be competing at a national level.
